Transferring Characters

The Thief of Fate allows you to transfer existing developed characters from Bard's Tale 1, 2, and another instance of 3.

Here are various tips for transferring, on different Playforms:

DOS/PC (native)

Thief of Fate, unlike Destiny Knight, allows you to simply specify a folder or disk where the characters from the game selected currently reside. To transfer characters from another game:

1. Run Thief of Fate
2. Go to Transfer Characters
3. Select the game you wish transfer from
4. Enter the full drive and path, followed by \, where the game (character) files reside.

Note: Only character stats and items that exist in both BT3 and the source game will be copied.
